About the role

As a Resource Planning Specialist, you will drive optimal allocation of manpower, materials, and budgets across Qatar Aircraft Catering Company - QACC. Your analytical expertise will identify efficiency gaps, forecast resource needs, and implement digital solutions to boost productivity while supporting strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

Partner with HR and line managers to address staffing gaps, shape recruitment/training plans, and align workforce strategies with operational demands.

Analyze resource utilization data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Develop real-time dashboards/reports tracking manpower utilization, costs, and project progress, using Power BI.

Assist SM by driving & implementing RMS (Resource management system).

Forecast resource availability vs. demand, escalating risks (e.g., shortages) and creating contingency plans.

Collaborate with Heads of Departments (HODs) to optimize resource deployment during peak seasons or shifting priorities.

Drive process improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce resource waste.

Serve as a cross-functional liaison to ensure clear communication and execution of resource strategies.

Support emergency response initiatives, including Qatar Airways’ Special Assistance Program.

About You

Bachelor Degree with minimum 5 years of job – in resource planning, workforce optimization, operational analytics, Data Analytics or HR.

Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization. Excellent written, verbal and strong influencing and negotiations skills.

Maintain strict confidentiality of records and information.

Good knowledge of HR system.

Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Access and Power Point and proficiency with Oracle Financials.

Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Experience in competency assessment, audits, and training within an operational environment.

Strong understanding of SOP development and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including operations, HR, and commercial teams.
