What You Will Do:
Represents the organization to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies. Provides resolution of business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending a course of action.
Develops and manages comprehensive internal export and import controls to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies in the conduct of international spaneting, sales, supply chain and other business activities. Establishes business processes for submitting to and obtaining from the US government all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications and technology release determinations. Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Includes (non-engineering) technical experts who support law department in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions or complaints. Establishes and maintains training and audit / assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains and analyzes select trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure legal compliance.
- Partners with legal staff in the investigation and resolution of complex compliance problems, questions, or complaints.
- Established Global Trade professional.
- Manages and maintains applicable trade compliance records, audits International Trade Compliance related training, and may resolve import/export matters.
- Facilitates and audits compliance-related training to ensure that the organization’s interests are well-protected.
- Analyzes information, prepares reports, and distributes pertinent information as directed by Global Trade leadership for the Foreign Trade Zone at the Columbus location
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
