We are seeking an experienced Avionics Install Repair Production Supervisor to oversee avionics installation and troubleshooting operations supporting General Aviation aircraft. This position will lead a team of avionics technicians specializing in Garmin and Pro Line 21 systems while ensuring quality, production flow, troubleshooting support, and regulatory compliance throughout the repair and installation process.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical troubleshooting ability, leadership experience, and the ability to interface directly with customers and FAA representatives. The ideal candidate must be capable of directing daily production activities while also assisting with complex avionics issues when needed.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day avionics installation, repair, and troubleshooting operations
- Lead and support a team of 5–6 avionics technicians
- Troubleshoot completed Garmin and Pro Line 21 installations and assist with complex system issues
- Support customer aircraft with avionics discrepancies, repairs, and modifications
- Coordinate production schedules, workflow, and manpower assignments
- Interface directly with customers and FAA representatives regarding maintenance activities and compliance matters
- Ensure installations and repairs are completed in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to avionics personnel
- Assist hands-on with troubleshooting and repairs when required
Requirements
- Strong General Aviation avionics experience required
- Garmin and Pro Line 21 experience required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within avionics production or maintenance environments
- Proven troubleshooting experience on completed avionics installations
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, wiring, and avionics integration
- Ability to manage production priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills

This is not an install position or a bench tech position
We need someone who has the knowledge to troubleshoot completed Garmin or Pro Line 21 installs that can isolate issues and make repairs – Might be an install we have completed or could be a drop in with an issue.
Would run the 5-6 person team that specializes in the task and interfaces with the customer and the FAA
Must have the knowledge to direct the team and must also be willing to hope in when the issue cannot be identified and find it themselves.
This position would be salary plus OT
General Aviation and Garmin/ProLine experience Required
