PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Design Engineer to support the Electronics Packaging department in Chandler, AZ. In this fast-paced role, you’ll collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to design and deliver critical components that power cutting-edge aerospace systems.

You’ll be at the intersection of engineering design and real-world application—contributing directly to the success of next-generation launch vehicles.

• Create and release 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies related to launch vehicle avionics using Siemens NX managed with Teamcenter.

• Support the design and drafting of electrical printed wiring assemblies (PWAs).

• Prepare digital product definition packages in compliance with ASME Y14.41, using PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) within NX and Teamcenter.

• Collaborate daily with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to ensure cohesive system design.

• Maintain consistent communication with Responsible Engineers regarding design progress and updates.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience, or a minimum of 2 years of related engineering design experience.

• Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter for modeling, drafting, and release of mechanical components.

• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5-2009.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Experience using PMI for digital product definitions in Siemens NX.

• Experience drafting electrical assemblies (PWAs).

• Familiarity with avionics systems and their integration in flight vehicles.

• ASME GDTP Certification is a plus.

Pay Details: $45.34 per hour
