Role Overview:
Focal point for supplier quality related matters
Partner and engage with respective supplier to drive robust & timely RCCA in order to reduce Customer disruptions, escapes, loss events and improve customer satisfaction
Drive and support supplier’s quality and product safety culture
Drive supplier’s performance to meet quality requirements and delivered product yield
Manage and support new supplier development and qualification activities (NPI, RSS, Audit)
Manage and update CASL (Consolidated Approved Supplier Listing)
Manage supplier audit plan and execute periodic audits in accordance with quality and aviation regulatory system requirements
Lead quality response to customers (RCCA, certification, documentation, and other quality related issues)
Support GRS quality system establishment for standardization across 3 regions
Support/guide new supplier to Part 145 attainment, manage supplier regulatory approval capabilities, particularly on Technical Arrangement on Aviation Maintenance (e.g CAAS-TAM, HKCAD, UKCAA)
Manage Technical Publication Control for supplier with no direct engine manual access (Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletin, PCN & RSS revision tracking)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing and Production Quality Assurance
Qualified auditor with 1+ years of auditing experience
Relevant experience in supplier quality management
Relevant experience in managing a new product through iterations to improve quality
Relevant experience in general aviation and quality systems
Knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action techniques, Six Sigma quality concepts and tools, Human Factors effect.
Willingness and ability to travel within country and abroad, as necessary
