The Engineering Intern typically starts in November when they become available to be full-time on site and continue through to February the following year when they resume their university programme.

What You Will Do

• You will be assigned to support one of our Engineering teams which include roles such as Production, Process & Methods, Tooling, Industrial, Engine Testing, Repair Development & Project Engineering.
• Tasks will vary based on what support you can provide the team such as Scripting and transferring technical work instructions into our maintenance execution database, creation of standard work, CAD tooling design or other technical project work all in support of Aircraft Engine Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) activity. We are presently undergoing set up for capability of the PW1100G-JM Engine.
• Document a record of your work and present to stakeholders at progress milestones.

Qualifications

• Be working towards an Engineering Degree typically in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical and Process or Electrical.
• Be at least in your 3rd year of full-time study or further along your degree.

Your Profile

• Have a keen interest and passion for aviation, potentially have chosen an Aerospace Minor.
• Are familiar with database concepts.
• Are willing to learn new skills to be able to support the engineering project activities assigned.
• Have excellent listening, communication, and documentation skills.
• Have the ability to quickly integrate and operate within an established team.
• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
