Jr. Engineer - Thermal Spray M/F

Job Description:

Objective:
•tEnsure grit blasting, thermal spray and manual degreasing operations are performed in compliance with applicable procedures and documentation.
Authorities:
•tEscalate any operational issues related to assigned operations to superiors.
•tPerform the assigned operation
•tVerify manufacturing operations related to grit blasting and thermal spray within manufacturing routers.
•tCreate, update, and maintain manufacturing logbooks along with relevant details.
•tMaintain and update record sheets, tooling lists, daily/weekly maintenance checklists, and all other documentation required for sandblasting and coating operations.
Responsibilities:
•tMaintain proper 5S standards in the work area.
•tAdhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
•tUnderstand process requirements based on customer specifications.
•tComprehend and follow process standards.
•tIdentify opportunities for process improvement.
•tRecommend improvements to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
•tEnsure machinery and equipment are properly maintained for safe and effective operation.
•tMaintain tooling in good working condition.
Physical Demands:
•tKeep the work area, equipment, and all documents/records audit-ready at all times.
•tParticipate in all mandatory training sessions related to assigned process.
•tIdentify areas for improvement within operations.
•tRecommend initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience

Educational Qualifications:
•tDiploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering.
Work Experience:
•t3+ years of experience in sandblasting, Plasma Spray, and HVOF coating within a manufacturing environment.
•tAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
•tProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
Behavioral Skills:
•tStrong ability to persuade, take initiative, and accept responsibility.
•tAdaptable and flexible, with a proactive and autonomous work style.
•tWilling to support and collaborate with others; skilled in building relationships.
