How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Senior DevSecOps Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia. Key Responsibilities Responsible for enabling the enterprise to adopt DevSecOps practices through the administration and support of modern development tools and enablement of Delta’s cloud journey. Enable and maintain the availability and resilience of the development tools that orchestrate the delivery of application components to multiple environments. Participate in leading and facilitating educational sessions on the use of DevSecOps tools and Cloud Native best practices. Assist in server patching activities for AWS infrastructure including Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and data storage solutions such as the Simple Storage Service (S3) and Relational Database Service (RDS). Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD applications deployed in the AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and on-premises Windows and Linux based applications, utilizing operational tools such as Grafana. Telecommuting permitted 3 days per week. 10 Domestic travel to other Delta offices to train, collaborate with, and help other employees.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in software development. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology Management, or a related field, and 7 years of experience in software development.Must have work experience with:Enabling the adoption of DevSecOps practices including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools including GitLab CI and AWS CodePipeline; Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible; AWS CloudWatch and Grafana; PagerDuty; Relational Databases including RDS and PostgreSQL; SonarQube and Sonatype Nexus; and Git Tools, GitLab, and GitHub.
