Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student: PROCESS OF RECONCILING THE DESIGN OF A STRUCTURE WITH THE PRODUCTION
Index:
The reconciliation process: what it consists of and why it is necessary.
Analysis of the manufacturing of a structural element: measurements and comparison with the theoretical design.
Identification of discrepancies between the theoretical design and the manufactured element.
Definition of modifications to the theoretical design or manufacturing process.
Content:
The project consists of the analysis and practical application of the process of reconciling the theoretical design with the manufacturing process to a structural element. The reconciliation process consists of comparing the design of a theoretical part with the same manufactured part, with the goal of identifying discrepancies between the two. Once the discrepancies have been identified, decisions must be made that allow both theoretical and manufactured parts to coincide. The project will begin with a theoretical design and an exhaustive measurement of one or more manufactured parts. The capabilities of the manufacturing and assembly process, the environment in which the part is integrated into the aircraft, the design requirements, the functionality of the part, etc., will also be taken into account. At the end of the process, a series of modifications to the design or the manufacturing process will be defined to ensure that both are aligned.
