STS Technical Services is hiring a Financial Business Analyst to join our client’s team in Savannah, Georgia. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for turning complex data into business insights that drive strategic decision-making.
In this role, you’ll collaborate across departments, build financial models, and help shape the future of an industry-leading organization through performance analysis, forecasting, and operational alignment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare and analyze variance reports comparing actual results to forecasts
- Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Track key performance indicators and recommend strategies for improvement
- Partner with business units to understand operational drivers and align financial outcomes
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership
- Support new project and investment decisions through business case analysis
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance financial reporting systems
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to finance and operations teams
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or business analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SQL or similar data querying tools
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
- Knowledge of GAAP, balance sheet reconciliation, and variance analysis
- Strategic thinking and the ability to connect financial data to business goals
