The Vertical Lift (VL) division of Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to support the MH-139 and V-22 programs in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.
This position offers the opportunity to partner with program analysts and senior leadership across multiple functions, as well as lead and support the financial processes including LRBP, Forecasts and Opportunity and Risk Management.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads the development and consolidation of the Long-Range Business Plans (LRBP) and monthly forecast
Develops executive-level presentations for the MH-139 and V-22 Leadership Teams
Makes recommendations to senior leaders on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
Establishes partnerships and relationships with program leadership, peers, and functional leaders
Leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of financial performance to senior management
Builds a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise best practices and employee engagement to improve quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction
Performs basic analysis of integrated financial statement forecasts
Reconciles data from multiple sources (including assumptions and forecast basis of estimates) and performs general support of integrated financial statement forecasts for programs, business units or the enterprise
Extracts data and compiles routine performance reports and supports the preparing variance analyses
Supports development of strategic and operating plans as it relates to integrated financial statements. Supports development of business cases
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
1+ years of experience using financial analysis for the purposes of decision making
1+ years of experience creating and analyzing data to identify data trends and communicate a story to depict findings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1+ years of experience in the preparation of Long-Range Business Plans (LRBP)
1+ years of experience in financial forecast
1+ years of experience demonstrating presentation skills to senior managers and/or executives
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with financial planning systems
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, and high attention to detail

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Associate – Level 2): $68,850 - $93,150
Summary pay range (Experienced – Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000
