• Troubleshoot CNC equipment and ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures are completed.
• Support the documentation of PM completion records and procedures.
• Repair CNC Machinery, Manual Machines, and Machining Centers.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
• Identify and replace parts as necessary.
• Complete testing and adjust parts as needed.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and maintenance companies to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
• Work with a sense of urgency to minimize machine downtime.
• In conjunction with the production team, support continuous improvement plans.
• Perform general facilities maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires at least 4 years of experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls.
• Requires at least 4 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.
• Must be able to read parts manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Requires a high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge, and repair skills.
• Must have advanced knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
• Requires advanced knowledge of and experience with electrical test equipment, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and weekends, as needed.
• Must be able to multitask job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
