Senior Quality Inspector

Contract Position

$20.62-$25.62/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Inspect parts and materials to ensure compliance with specified requirements, evaluate defects in real time, and document quality assurance findings and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain QA documentation in accordance with internal standards and customer requirements.
• Verify the implementation of corrective actions and confirm rework meets standards.
• Interface with internal teams to support quality assurance efforts and ensure product integrity throughout the production process.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of directly related quality inspection experience.
• Certifications (may be required): J-STD-001, IPC-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, X-Ray qualification.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in interpreting material requirements, fabrication methods, and manufacturability concepts.
  • Experience using CAD tools such as Pro-E/Creo or SolidWorks.
  • Familiarity with design documentation standards including ASME Y14.5M and GD&T.
  • Understanding of basic mechanical stress principles including structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis.
