What You’ll Do
- Repair & fabricate metallic and composite skins, frames, stringers, doors, cowlings, fairings, and control-surface assemblies using brake-forming, stretch-forming, joggling, hot-bonding, and vacuum-bag techniques.
- Follow the data - work to OEM SRM/CMM, AC 43.13, DER instructions, and 14 CFR Parts 43 / 65 / 145.
- Operate precision tooling - presses, shears, stretch-formers, hot-bond controllers, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) equipment.
- Own documentation - maintain material traceability and shop findings; escalate unclear instructions promptly.
- Model 5S and mentor apprentices in a fast-paced Lean repair cell.
