* Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School Diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate’s degree + 2 years of related work, Bachelor’s degree, etc.).
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories, avionics systems, shop mathematics, and practices.
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings, and standard operating procedures.
* A minimum of 10+ years of experience with component and wire installation, including repairing, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting systems.
* Experience fabricating new wire bundles.
* Experience in routing and installing wire bundles on aircraft without existing wiring.
* Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Ability to obtain security clearance. Professional Attributes

* Experience with avionics systems.
* Experience with depot-level or modification maintenance.
* Ability to operate forklift, mobile crane, and electric powered elevating equipment.
* FAA Airframe and/or Power Plant certification. Job Duties & Functions
* Perform connector terminations, including shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
* Route, install, seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses and cables per standard processes.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements.
* Perform assembly, installation, inspection, modification, and testing of electrical systems and wire bundles.
* Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and communication/navigation system malfunctions.
* Utilize tooling, fixtures, and equipment for depot-level modification and repair.
* Interpret work instructions, diagrams, charts, blueprints, and job layouts.
* Coordinate preparation and movement of materials and tools.
* Operate riding-type electric powered elevating equipment.
* Maintain certifications, licenses, and permits required for assigned work.
* Perform duties of lower-level electrical classifications as needed. Physical Requirements & Environment
* Ability to ascend and descend ladders and work in confined spaces.
* Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds, with occasional team lifts exceeding 50 pounds.
* Exposure to noise and elevated work platforms.
* Use of personal protective equipment for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms.
* Pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
* Handle and dispose of hazardous materials.
* Frequent standing, walking, balancing, reaching overhead, and climbing.
