Job Title: Assistant Manager-AO&CS (Contract Management)

Job Summary:
As a Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by overseeing the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts and agreements. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, procurement, finance and taxation teams, vendors, and clients, to ensure that contracts are aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and strategic objectives. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in minimizing risks and maximizing the value of contracts for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Contract Development: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including but not limited to client agreements, vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and service level agreements.
2. Contract Management: Maintain a centralized contract repository, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date, properly categorized, and accessible to relevant team members. Track contract milestones, renewal dates, and compliance requirements.
3. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks in contracts and work with legal counsel to develop strategies for risk mitigation. Ensure that contracts are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, procurement, finance, taxation, and operations, to align contracts with business objectives and resolve contract-related issues. Foster positive relationships with external partners and clients.
5. Negotiation and Contract Amendments: Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, and partners to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Balance the interests of all parties while protecting the companys interests. Assist in the negotiation of contract amendments, extensions, or renewals. Ensure that all changes to contracts are properly documented and communicated.
6. Contract Auditing: Periodically review and audit existing contracts to identify and liaise with airport operations for areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and compliance with terms and conditions.
7. Contract Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance to ensure that all parties meet their obligations. Address deviations from contract terms and initiate appropriate actions when necessary.
8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all contract-related communications, changes, and amendments. Prepare reports and summaries for management as needed to ensure timely renewal of the contract.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in contract management. Suggest and implement improvements to contract management processes and policies.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge and understanding of IATA AHM810 - Standard Ground Handling Agreement.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in contract administration or coordination, or related field.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (if applicable).
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or a related field; a Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
