Description:You will be the Auto-Processes Operations Manager for the Lufkin Autoprocesses team. Our team is responsible for leading and optimizing various manufacturing areas, including Surface Mount Manufacturing Lines, Circuit Card Coating, and Automated Wire Prep areas, to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Auto-Processes Operations Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining operations and driving improvements in Quality, Schedule, and Cost performance. You will lead a cross-functional team to meet and exceed internal customer requirements, developing area operating rhythms and implementing measures to drive performance in critical areas. Your responsibilities will include:
•Leading and optimizing manufacturing areas to improve Quality, Schedule, and Cost performance
•Developing and implementing operating improvements and area operating rhythms
•Collaborating with technical teams to monitor equipment health and develop capital plans
•Working cross-functionally to drive 1LMx initiatives and operational efficiency
•Leading a matrixed team of supervisors, engineers, and production planning leads

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of previous Manufacturing/Operations Leadership experience or equivalent
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- Advanced communication and teaming skills
- Proficiency in earned value cost management
- Previous experience/interface with internal or external customers
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Lean manufacturing training or certification
- DOD/Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing readiness assessment and other ramp to rate activities
- Capital planning and project management experience
- Experience developing new business proposals
- Familiar with capacity planning tools

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
