This position is a Program Management position within Pratt & Whitney’s Military Engines organization. The F100 Component Improvement Program (CIP) Manger leads a matrixed cross-functional team that introduces safety, reliability, cost reduction, and maintainability improvements for the F100 engine.
What You Will Do
Cross Functional Program Leader with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance of a portfolio of improvement tasks throughout the full lifecycle
Demonstrate leadership as a key role on the F100 Program Team
Primary point of interface with the USAF customer to maintain strong customer communications and business relationships to ensure effective and efficient execution of the annual business cycle and contract requirements.
Responsible for profit and loss / annual sales for CIP related business, financial forecasting (LRP and OMM)
Leads the CIPT generation of new task proposals through the Crystal Ball and Roadmap cycles based on reviews of safety, reliability, and field data.
Leads the business acquisition team in timely responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) for follow on task delivery orders.
Defining and flowing down contractual requirements to functional organizations, developing negotiation strategies, and leading the negotiation team through award of annual CIP tasks
Organizing, conducting, and presenting at required program meetings and conferences (Crystal Ball, Roadmap, Worldwide User Conference, Technical Reviews, and Program Management Reviews)
Qualifications You Must Have
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Aerospace discipline is required.
10 years of aerospace or business experience or An Advanced Degree with 7 years of aerospace or business experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced degree and/or M.B.A degree is preferred.
Demonstrated program management experience
Strong organization and communication skills
F100 product and technical configuration familiarity
Program management systems including manpower planning, program scheduling, cost controls, and earned value management
Knowledge of military contracting process
Experience with proposal preparation and customer negotiations preparation
Experience interfacing with internal and external customers

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
