Airbus is looking for a Group Manager - Skywise Transverse Solutions  to join the Bangalore, India location.

Skywise is a revolutionary digital platform for the aviation industry, developed by Airbus in partnership with Palantir. Skywise uses modern, cutting edge technologies to leverage the hidden value of data and to support aviation actors in taking data-driven decisions and optimizing their daily operations. Skywise does so by ingesting over 150,000 data sources daily and organizing them into an universal data model that we call the Skywise Ontology. On top of the Ontology, Skywise provides its customers with access to a vast array of powerful tools that allows them to drill down, explore data, build interactive dashboards and front-ends perform advanced data analysis using Machine Learning, build predictive models, carry out simulation scenarios across complex models mimicking real-world industrial situations and so much more.

Currently, Skywise has been adopted by more than 140 Airlines worldwide and over a dozen major aviation suppliers and has over 50,000 unique users accessing the platform every day. Skywise is continuously expanding by connecting more and more data sources and attracting more customers to its services. It is heavily used by Airbus internal users across various functions amounting to over 80 of the overall users.

Group Manager - Skywise Transverse Solutions is part of the Digital for Corporate and Analytics under Information Management (IM) function. He/She is responsible for the day to day management of the Skywise teams which are located within the Airbus IM Global In-house Centre (GIC). Success of this position will require good hands-on experience in Skywise product development and data analytics along with strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams. In this position, you will be expected to lead teams working in (but not limited to) the areas of Sustainability analytics, Skywise Core & Premium and Skywise Virtual Campus.

The successful candidate will establish team goals by identifying, evaluating and understanding the business strategy & technical trends. He/She will accomplish the team results/performance by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching and leading the team in the right direction.
