About Position / Position Summary
The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Manager to join the SAP S/4 Center of Excellence to manage and run the Application Support and Operations team in Bengaluru, India.
The focus of the role is to manage S/4 application footprint for Boeing Supply Chain IT & DA by leading the internal SAP support work, day-to-day operations, review user experience and feedback contributing to the overall improvement of our application adoption and functionality. Closely work with system integrator partners and internal team members to address support needs for SAP S/4 system. Provide end-user support to all levels of production operations including Procurement, Sales, Trade compliance, Finance, Production and Quality, and provide advice regarding standard SAP functionality and best practices as it evolves with company needs. Maintain and present metrics and dashboards regarding SLAs to executive level management.
The individual is expected to be an expert in global organization management with the ability to handle team members dispersed across India and multiple United States (US) sites as well. strong business acumen and excellent partnership skills are of paramount to work in demanding and highly skilled work environment to collaborate and influence people and decisions from the stakeholders and other IT divisions. The role reports to the Sr Manager and the individual is expected to lead a team of individual contributors in higher levels.
This role will be based out of Bengaluru, India.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and integrates employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees
Adopt and establish standards, best practices and processes as needed towards design high quality functional and technical solutions
Measure, track, and correct outcomes based on metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), user-experience, and customer satisfaction
Manages the SAP technical landscape, including MDG ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and automation within the SAP environment.
Stay current with new ERP / SAP technology developments and techniques, research new software and tools, proactively recommend improvements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
10+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
6+ years of experience within information technology
6+ years of experience in organization management
6+ years of experience working within a global development team
3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change in SAP S/4 environment
Possesses deep knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP Basis, HANA, Solution Manager, and related technologies.
Able to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ) :
3+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
3+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) systems
Experience and certifications with SAP and IaaS Providers (MS Azure)
