A vacancy for a Supply Chain and Quality Manager has arisen within Airbus AOSL in Getafe. The successful applicant will join PIAT department.

For serial and development Programs, the job holder is accountable for:
• Compliance of suppliers and products, including special processes:
• New products Introduction (NPI) and Transfers of Work, leading or supporting the SCQM
• On time and on quality deliveries:
He (she) manages, monitors and reports suppliers performance
He (she) corrects, improves and develops suppliers quality performance, capacity and capability
• Supply chain and Quality contribution to the MFT

Task & accountabilities :
The job holder is accountable for the compliance of suppliers and products, including special processes.

He (she) is Quality Responsible or Involved Quality Person at product level.
The job holder is in charge of:
• Approvals & qualifications, and their maintenance:
Pronounce Suppliers approval, ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) is relevant, and update ARP
Verify the Quality Assurance Plan continuously meets Airbus requirements
Perform, or support, qualification of products and special processes
Validate First Article Inspection (FAI)
Ensure Last Article Inspection (LAI) is performed for Buy to Buy transfer of work
• Controls & Surveillance:
Guarantee the compliance to Airbus requirements (POA,...)
Negotiate and monitor overall Quality-Gates performance
Perform or support Products / Process audits
Contribute, Industrial Process Control Assessment (CCP&Aeroexcellence) and manage associated action plans

The job holder is accountable for New Products Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW):
• He (she) coordinates all industrial topics
• He (she) is end to end Quality Responsible (FAI, qualification, First Part Qualification ...)

The job holder is accountable for on time and on quality deliveries.
To monitor and manage supplier performance, the job holder feeds and uses:
• the early warning system
• Performance KPIs (D1, supplier concessions, R1, Missing parts...)
• Quality gates (Completion / oustanding work (OSW) / Open Concessions & Mods...)
• Action plans (coming from CCP, audits, assessments,...)
• QSR – SARI (ex Significant Events)
• the Escalation Process

The job holder corrects, improves and develops suppliers’ quality performance, capacity and capability, and reports status to internal customers, at product level.
• To correct, the job holder deploys:
Risks reduction actions
Containment / Recovery plans (Hot issues)
Non Quality eradication actions (through CNQ), 9S management
• To report on achievements, issues, root causes, action plans, expected impacts, point of embodiment and support required, the job holder feeds:
Dashboards, Suppliers Cockpits and PO Control Room as required
5 box when a topic needs to be highlighted

Required skills:

- University degree Engineering
- The candidate must have a certain technical knowledge about aerostructure parts, preferably some background in Quality and/or Supply Chain.
- Engineering or manufacturing engineer background will be valuable.
- Composite technology knowledge will be valuable.
- Leadership and communication are required for this position.
- Project management experience is valuable.
- The candidate must be an advance user of common IT tools & quick learner for specific tools needed in the job and curious about digitalization and new technologies.
- English: Negotiation level
- Spanish: Fluent
- International experience is valuable

- Highly motivated and willingness to learn
- Availability to travel
