As a valued member of our team specializing in the Public Safety sector, your primary objective revolves around the adequacy and compliance of the proposed critical communications solution with customer functional and operational requirements in bids and project phases. You will provide technical solutions information in bids and in projects. Your overall mission is to define end-to-end solutions based on Agnet, our mission critical team communication application, for on-premises projects and the Agnet SaaS offering. Additionally, you will design the architecture and dimension the technical specifications. It’s in an exciting role with a lot of variety and responsibility making it possible for you to grow as a professional. 

Your specific tasks include:

• Collection and analysis of customer functional and operational requirements

• Definition of the technical solution: specification, architecture, dimensioning with adequate resiliency, performance and security levels and optimized costs

• Configuration of the network elements: parameters for roll-out

• Bid/Project Technical follow-up: technical reviews with customers, commitment requests, technical changes

• Suppliers’ technical follow-up: technical specification and qualification plan

• Scope of supply definition for the end-to-end solution

• End-to end integration strategy

• Test plan definition and System Acceptance of the solution

• Operational planning with Customer

In addition, you will also be

• Defining competitive end-to-end solutions together with top experts from different teams in an international environment.

• Ensuring that our solutions fit smoothly into our customers’ IT environments.

• Understanding the IT and applicative environment in which our broadband solution Agnet will be integrated. 

• Designing and integrating Agnet end to end solutions for on-premises projects and the Agnet SaaS offering

• Contributing to resolution of bugs / problems fixing

• Identifying dependencies and drive technical requirements clarification with stakeholders across customers and Airbus to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution

Let’s talk about you – who is set to thrive in this position?

In this role, we need a seasoned technical expert who excels in our multicultural environment and has completed university studies in e.g. electrical or communications engineering or computer science or similar.

You have several years of proven professional experience (at least 3-5 years) of complex IT environments and System Architecture or relevant work experience. In addition, you have solid understanding in at least one special field (e.g., elements of radio communication networks, 4G/5G,, … infrastructure, access networks, applications and tools or in IP backbone or IT security, virtualization and hypervisor technologies).

In addition, we appreciate

• Sound experience in dealing with CRM systems

• Experience in configuration

  • digital radio/mobile radio systems 3/4/5G including subscriber management systems

  • Operating systems (UNIX/Linux/Windows)

  • Virtualization (especially RedHat Virtualization and VMware)

  • LTE EPC, for example, from Nokia, Athonet, or Ericsson

  • IT systems, IP networks and network management systems (NMS)

  • IT security architectures and network hardening techniques

  • TETRA/TETRAPOL/DMR networks providing mission and business critical communication services

• Knowledge of databases and database-based applications

• Ability to document clearly and factually

• Modern high availability systems and platforms, clustering, redundancy including geo-redundancy and load distribution

In addition to the technical knowledge, succeeding in this role demands also strong interpersonal skills, e.g. 

• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

• Ability to work in a team cooperating, taking initiatives, showcasing assertiveness

• Ability to also work independently, being solution oriented, structured, analytical and efficient
