Job Summary

Responsible for providing N/C programs for the fabrication of machined parts. This role involves proficient use of CATIA V5 to program 3- to 5-axis machines, analyzing blueprints, and efficiently managing the programming, testing, and revision process. The N/C Programmer will ensure optimal machine selection, tooling, and cutting tool requirements, while adhering to deadlines and supporting program development on the machine.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide N/C programs for the fabrication of machined parts.
• Proficiently use CATIA V5 to program 3- to 5-axis machines.
• Analyze blueprints and job orders before programming, and compare results with original specifications.
• Efficiently program, test, and revise machine programming.
• Select appropriate machine type (3 to 5 axes), tooling requirements (for work holding purposes and part orientation), and cutting tool requirements.
• Meet provided deadlines on time.
• Work effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
• Provide on-machine support for program development.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of CATIA V5 experience in 3-axis and 5-axis programming.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of CATIA V5 experience in 3-axis and 5-axis programming, plus mill-turn.
