Agile Product Owner

Job Description:

DPP is seeking an Agile Product Owner for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work location: Fully onsite to start.
Duration: 6 months, contract to hire potential.
Hours: 8:00 – 5:00 with one-hour lunch, flexible.
Residency requirement: Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client’s applicable government contract.

Position summary:

The Agile Product Owner supports release planning and works closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements for the eServices portal.
The group consists of three Scrum teams of 6–8 members each and manages a highvolume backlog that includes updates to existing features and the development of new tools. The environment is collaborative, positive, and teamoriented.

Required technologies:

Agile ALM tools (e.g., Agility, Jira)
Defect management tools
Release management tools
Strong proficiency in writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria

Nice to have:

Visio
SQL
Insomnia
Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, PMIACP)
Experience with secure application environments, including authentication, authorization, and data privacy considerations

Minimum required work experience:

6 years of IT business analysis experience

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, Bus. Admin., or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
