Cybersecurity Analyst I - Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Job Description:

As a Cybersecurity Analyst I, you will play a crucial role in reviewing AI and its applications from a security perspective. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the security implications of AI technologies and ensure they are integrated safely and effectively.
Under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for cyber threat identification, evaluation, prioritization, and remediation activities. Youll continuously review existing and proposed changes to SNC systems, networks, and software designs, focusing on AI-related components. Additionally, you will analyze logging and alerting data, identifying and escalating potential security events.
The Cyber Security Analyst will also partner with business users to support the integration of cybersecurity protections into business operations and will be a key member of the vulnerability management team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our AI-driven initiatives are secure and resilient against cyber threats.

As SNCs corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, spaneting, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security assessments of AI technologies and their applications.
  • Review and analyze software for potential vulnerabilities and security risks.
  • Evaluate hardware configurations for security compliance and potential risks.
  • Assess and review SaaS configurations to ensure they meet security standards.
  • Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities across systems and networks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure identified vulnerabilities are effectively remediated.
  • Collaborate with business users to integrate cybersecurity measures into business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security assessments and findings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices, particularly in the context of AI technologies.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline or 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
    • A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques
  • Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree
  • Ability to read and interpret security and technical documentation
  • AI related experience and / or training
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
  • Understanding of the unique security challenges posed by AI, such as adversarial attacks and data poisoning
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, AI-related certifications) are a plus
  • Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of high-sensitivity projects and data
  • Ability to perform critical-incident response
