We’re looking for a Quality Research Inspector to join an industry-leading aerospace operation in Tucson, AZ. What Youll DoAs a Quality Research Inspector, you are the expert behind the details—digging into documentation, maintenance history, and regulatory standards to make sure nothing is overlooked. Your work supports the integrity and safety of aircraft before they return to service.
You will:
Research and capture all maintenance program requirements (Inspection Programs, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Instructions for Continued Airworthiness) for specific aircraft models
Conduct thorough reviews of aircraft documentation and perform on-aircraft inspections to determine actual configuration
Translate complex research into clear, organized reports for customer delivery
Support the Quality team by performing inspections and return-to-service duties when requested
Verify all work packages, maintenance documentation, and regulatory forms are complete and accurate
Perform aircraft walk-arounds and final inspections for maintenance release
Communicate directly with customers and provide requested technical data
Mentor and coach team members to strengthen performance and compliance
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Current and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience (corporate or commercial jets)
At least 1 year of experience working on aircraft
At least 1 year of experience as a certified Aircraft Quality Inspector
Proficient in interpreting regulatory documentation: FARs, ADs, SBs, TCDS, CFR, CAA, FAA
Working knowledge of return-to-service procedures and applicable SAP systems
Ability to use a variety of measuring tools, test equipment, and hand tools
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with software programs including Excel, Word, Access, SAP, AMS, and maintenance tracking systems

Pay Details: $38.00 to $45.00 per hour
