JOB TITLE: Systems Test Tech

PAY RATE: $27/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:

Support the development of electronic test equipment across various aerospace programs.

Participate in test design, perform routine procurement and assembly, and assist with systems integration and testing activities.

Setup, checkout, teardown, and troubleshooting of test systems and related components.

Work under close supervision with training and mentorship provided.

Interpret engineering drawings and electronic schematics

Select appropriate tools and materials for fabrication

Fabricate components, fixtures, and systems per engineering drawings

Assist in system integration, pre-test setup, and post-test teardown

Conduct routine testing and document results

Troubleshoot basic issues in the lab and test environment

Maintain lab safety and adhere to engineering procedures

Build custom electronic test equipment supporting multiple aerospace programs

Perform hands-on fabrication, soldering, and electrical assembly

Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure test readiness

Receive mentorship and on-the-job training

Requirements:

Associates degree (AA) in a related discipline preferred.

Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.

Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings

Hands-on experience with crimping, soldering, and using a multimeter

Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems

Familiarity with lab tools and standard test practices

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
