Arconic is currently in search of a Worker’s Compensation Nurse Coordinator to join our Davenport Works Manufacturing Plant based in our Davenport, IA location.

Job Summary:
The Worker’s Compensation Nurse Coordinator will provide support to the Wellness Center under the supervision of the Wellness Center Manager. You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day clinic operations including Workers Compensation and case management of Arconic staff including production, maintenance, and salaried employees.
The Workers Compensation and Nurse Coordinator reports to the Wellness Center Manager and works core hours Monday through Friday between 7am-5pm.
In this role, you will:
- Manages all aspects of Arconic Worker’s Compensation injuries including routine coordination of work comp cases with department manager, Worker’s Compensation carrier, external healthcare providers and Company legal counsel
- Serves as the primary contact for WC Claim Adjuster and outside care providers.
- Review medical case documentation for accuracy and completion and adherence to OSHA Recordkeeping
- Maintains legal information regarding Arconic WC cases for State of Iowa and Company legal counsel
- Communicate case changes with plant leadership, EHS and provide routine updates
- Routinely Interact with site medical staff on day-to-day care aspects regarding injured employees
- Educate and reinforce to Medical staff importance of attention to OSHA Recordkeeping Guidelines
- Update and revise patient health care plans as needed and educate patients about health care plans and options
- Evaluate and determine needs of patients by reviewing results from medical tests and coordinate care with healthcare providers
- Provide support for the Medical Manager as needed, including mentoring and training contracted services
You have:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from an Accredited Institution
- Minimum two year’s experience in an occupational health services environment and Workers Comp case management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a broad range of individuals and functions both inside and outside the organization
- Microsoft Office knowledge especially in Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.
Exceptional Candidates possess:
- Registered Nurse with 5 years of experience
- Experience in a team-based manufacturing environment.
- A demonstrated history of driving results
- Experience working in a union environment.
